چکیده

This study aims to investigate the variations of hematological and ionic parameters Holstein dairy cows according physiological stage, as an indicator their health status. The survey was conducted between January March, 2020 carried out on 4 lots 15 each. analysis blood included: red cells (RBC), hematocrit (HCT), hemoglobin (HGB), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), content (MCH), concentration (MCHC), platelets (PLT), white (WBC), lymphocytes (LYM), monocytes (MONO), neutrophils (NEU), eosinophils (EOS), basophils (BASO) such potassium (K), chlorine (Cl), calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P) sodium (Na). RBC level lowest in 2nd third gestation (6.0 ± 0.8 x 106/μL) postpartum period (5.6 106/μL), comparison 1st (6.6 0.6 106 / μL) 3rd (dry period) (6.7 0.5 (p<0.0001). same observation noted for HCT MCV highest dry (p<0.01). MCH MCHC were that (p<0.001). For WBC, count higher 1stthird compared other stages, (11.3 2.2 103 versus (6.4 4.1 μL), (5.2 1.3 (8.0 4.9 third, gestation, postpartum, respectively (p<0.001).In cows, had values (Ca) tothe stages investigation can be used a basis information profile cattle order determine status before onset clinical signs.

Comparison of Different Lactation Curve Models to Describe Lactation Curve in Moroccan Holstein-Friesian Dairy Cows

In this study, the incomplete gamma function, an exponential function, a mixed-log function and a polynomial function were evaluated to describe the lactation curve in Moroccan Holstein-Friesian dairy cows. Data from 1990 to 1999, comprising 77130 monthly milk yields of 6029 dairy cows in 280 dairy herds, were used. Edits were carried out by considering the lactation length (5 d and

Study on serum glucose, insulin, NEFA, BHBA and lipid profile in different productive status of high producing Holstein dairy cows

Background: Metabolic profiles have been used in efforts to predict pre parturient problems and fertility, to diagnose metabolic diseases, and to assess nutritional status in dairy cows. These profiles may help to confirm the diagnosis of sub clinical diseases, to be aware of possible causes of infertility in the herds, or to monitor improvement in herd animals. OBJECTIVES: This study investiga...

Blood gases and metabolite content and ruminal fermentation in response to diets with different fermentability in Holstein dairy cows

The objective of this study was to determine the effects of diets having different fermentability on blood gases, blood metabolites and ruminal fermentation parameters in Holstein dairy cows. Four multiparous Holstein dairy cows (665 ± 25 kg BW, 170 ± 7.0 DIM and 15±1.5 kg of milk yield), fitted with rumen cannulae, were used in a 4×4 Latin Square design with 28-d periods. Corn starch and sucro...

Risk factors affecting the culling of Iranian Holstein dairy cows

This experiment was conducted to evaluate the association between risk factors and the risk of culling in Iranian Holstein cows. The data consisted of 329,772 lactation records obtained from the Animal Breeding Center of Iran (2003 - 2012) and logistic regression was applied to investigate the associations between the predictor and response variables. The response variable in this experiment wa...

Circulating metabolic hormones in different metabolic states of high producing Holstein dairy cows

Background: Information regarding the metabolic hormones in different metabolic states of high producing dairy cows can aid high producing herds to manage and resolve the metabolic and production problems. Furthermore, it can be considered as a tool to evaluate metabolic status of dairy cows. Herd managers can also evaluate the energy input-output relationships by assessing the metabolic profil...
